Welcome everyone! Here you will find all the infromation regarding the learning performance of our students of primiry fifth. We will upload lots of things such as oral and written productions, murals, videos of our presentations, interesting links and everything related to what we are doing in the English class. We hope you like it!

11. Last effort, the school year is done!

The school year flew by, we cannot even think about how fast it went! We have learned lots but still we have to get a final unit done. We will make a unit test, watch a film, make a debate and also evaluate teacher Simon´s performance! This is the film we will watch: Soul Surfer! Here you may find the hetero evaluation worksheet:

10. Boys with vulva and girls with penis

This time we will work on transgender. It may seem a difficult topic to work on but still necessary to understand the reality of our people. First af all, we will explain the topic, evaluation criteria and final task. We will also review our pedagogical contract. This video explains pretty well what is transgender and clarrifies some concepts that are crucial to understand it. Key concepts to understand what transgender is, you can check on this interesting website :  GENDER: how we express masculinity and femininity regardless our biological anatomy. 9. Mikel got stuck!

In this unit we will work on physical disabilities. Our school is inattely inclusive so are our students. However, many places are not accesible for everyone and our school might be one of them. As we want to educate tolerant and plural students this unit is intended to raise awareness on physical disabilites. As a final product students will detect somewhere in the school installation that is not adequate for a person with physical disability and they will find a solution about the problem. However, to start with we will set groups, create the name of the group, mural and a flag. Also we will write the didactic contract and play team building games. We will also explain the topic, evaluation criteria and task. 8. Keep it up! Second term is finished!

Our pupils have worked a great deal throghout these months, well done folks! Now it is time to review what we have learnt: we will make a unit test, watch a film, create a debate and evaluate teacher Simon. Lots of things to be done! 7. Maddi was crying byherself in the toilet

In this project we will work on bullying. We will undestand the phenomenon, identify its aspects and fight against it! In order to deep into the topic, have a look to this  great material  and  web page. First of all, we will explain the topic, evaluation criteria and final task. We will also review our pedagogical contract. To get started we will watch the following video: After watching it, we will define what bullying is. What is bullying? We will make a definition of bullying.  Where does it happen? We will think of where it happens.  If you see bullying... we will think of things we do if we see bullying.  We will listen to this Anti-Bullying song! What can I do? The school year flies by! In this project we will be dealing with ICT's and socialnetoworking. We will reflect on our daily day usage as well as risks and benefits they offer us. Here you can find some material we will use to work on the topic. We hope you like it! Before starting we will explain the topic, evaluation criteria and final task. 5. Women that made our world better!

In this unit we will keep working on equality regarding men and women. Specifically, we will focus on some significant women that contribute towards scientific, historical and social improvement. Now it is time to set groups, create the name of the group, mural and a flag. Also we will write the didactic contract and play teambuilding games. We will explain the topic, evaluation criteria and task. Now we will make a presentation about the biography regarding the women we read in the book.  Today we will carry out pair reading activities. Students in pairs will have one part of the book, they will rehearse it and evaluate each other.  It is presentation day! T

4. Well done the first term is done!

It is time to get relaxed. We have learnt lots. However, learning never ends. Firstly, we will take a unit test to review what we have learnt throughout this unit. Also, we will evaluate teacher Simon's performance. And, finally, we will watch a very interesting film related to what we have worked on the last months. 3. No more violence against women!

From working on multilingualism we are moving to commit ourselves regarding equal rights among men and women. In this unit we will be working on Violence Against Women. It is going to be a tough way but for sure rather gratifiying. Before starting, we will explain the topic, evaluation criteria and final task. We will also review the pedagogical contract. What comes to your mind when you see this picture? This video made us reflect a lot about the situation some girls unfortunately live.     Now we will prepare an interview. A worker of Emakunde will explain us all our doubts and questions. Here you have the model for writing the interview: Carrying out an interview: We are going to start rehearsing our play. 2. The street are full of signs!

We keep working on mulingualism and languages. Throghout this project we will certainly learn lots, no doubt about it! Teacher Simon went with some firends to the old part in San Sebastian and took some pictures about the written displays they found. Here in this link you can see all the pictures they took. We are surronded by many languages we may not be aware of! We will upload both oral and written productions of our pupils! First of all we will explain the topic, evaluation criteria and final task. We will also review our pedagogical contract. After activating our students previous knowledge we will create a "Languages Booklet". Now it is time to make a mural, a coevaluation activity and present the job done!
